'Colombia abierta al mundo'

The Asociación Colombiana de Agencias de Viajes y Turismo – ANATO, is the organizer of the Vitrina Turística, the event that has been consolidated since 1982 as the most important tourism event in Colombia.

ANATO is a non-profit and union organization that represents, defends, and promotes the general interests of tourism and Travel Agencies in Colombia. Created on October 20th, 1949, it is made up of Associated Agencies throughout the national territory with 9 representation chapters, consolidating the sector and the association as the entity with the greatest national recognition for the development of its management.

One of the main objectives is to promote the work of Travel Agents in the country. The first version was made in Popayán with the participation of 20 exhibiting companies, and year after year it has been established as the most important space for sellers and buyers of tourism products and services, passing through cities such as Manizales, Cúcuta, San Andrés, and Medellín.

From the beginning of the 90s, Bogotá became the main headquarters that would annually host different professionals between exhibitors and visitors to the Vitrina Turística, which is currently held at the International Business and Exhibition Center – Corferias, as a meeting point where all tourism sectors such as airlines, hoteliers, tour operators, tourist representation offices and Travel Agents of Colombia know, promote and sell their tourism products and services. In the same way, the Vitrina Turística promotes the dynamization of receptive tourism and the generation of emissive currents towards the participating countries.

In the year of 2025, the 44rd version of the Vitrina Turística was carried out and had the participation of some countries, all the departments of Colombia, and tourism companies, registering 52,000 participants in three days of business, highlighting the quality of the assistant professionals.
